On Tuesday, April 5, the second construction site occupation at Grätzl 1 in Hirschstetten was cleared. For more than 8 months, the activists of LobauBleibt stood in the way of the destruction of the city highway with their bodies. But after the evacuation of the "Desert" construction site, the city of Vienna is now setting the next sign for climate destruction instead of a model city. Our commitment to a socially and climate-friendly mobility transition is becoming more and more criminalized, but we will not let that stop us.
